Programme Description

This programme is targeted towards professionals who wish to enhance their skills and competences in pedagogy. The target audience is graduates wishing to join the education sector as an Art educator, or persons already within the education sector who wish to pursue an initial teacher training programme. It aims to equip participants with the necessary tools and competences to teach effectively in the 21st century classroom whilst fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for learning.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are to be in possession of:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6 with a minimum of 180 ECTS) with a minimum of 60 ECTS in the area of Fine Arts or a cognate area deemed relevant by the Institute for Education.*

*Applicants will be required to present a potfolio illustrating their work and training in relation to the subject area prior to acceptance to the programme. Applicants may also be required to sit for an interview.
