This quantitative study investigates how Heads of Maltese State Schools define and interpret ‘quality’ in education. A questionnaire distributed to all Heads of Schools explores how factors such as gender, years of experience, and school type influence their perspectives. Correlational analysis identifies patterns and variables shaping these views. The resulting data will generate a Head of Schools–informed list of indicators characterising educational quality in the Maltese context.
The Institute for Education is a Further and Higher Education Institution with Licence number 2016-006
