The past couple of years has taught us that we can work from anywhere. At IfE we believe this and know how important working from home to focus on a project or because of life commitments is.
We believe that everyone should have the same opportunities in life, regardless of gender, race, age, or beliefs. Everyone has a voice and everyone can pitch new ideas to management.
We love celebrations so when it’s time to celebrate love and a new commitment, we offer our support to the newlyweds.
As new parents, we know how difficult it can be, and we encourage our staff to take their time off to get their strength back and bond with their children.
Families who adopt need all the support they can get because of the challenges they face. We offer this support as much as possible.
This is offered as per the new entitlement to parents of children up to the age of eight years.
As a Higher Educational Institution, we know how important continuous development and learning are. We encourage our employees to continue growing intellectually and offer support in form of additional study leave.

For this reason, we hold regular one-on-one meetings so that we achieve the common goal.
Spending most of one’s day at work, we believe that the office needs to be welcoming and comfortable. We showcase Maltese Artists on our walls and make sure that office furniture is safe and ergonomic.
The location of our offices offers spectacular country and sea views. On clear days, we can also see the silhouette of Sicily in the distance.
Birthdays are important dates to be celebrated. At IfE we do this by giving a personalised handmade birthday card to each member of staff. We also enjoy eating birthday cake, cupcakes or ice cream on this special day.
During the summer months and most of the winter ones too, nothing beats a fresh fruit as a snack. Our kitchens are full of fresh fruit to be enjoyed by our staff.
To continue the great communication and collaboration between each department and each other, we organise regular staff lunches, (photos of these can be seen on our events page).
Every year, IfE staff are given VDU eye tests as part of our Health and safety practises at the Institute.
