Ms Joanne Grima has been CEO of the Institute for Education (IfE) since its founding in 2015, leading its growth into a key centre for professional development, teacher training, and educational research. A former Chemistry teacher, she later served as Education Officer for Assessment for Learning and Assistant Director of Educational Assessment, contributing to national reform. Joanne champions innovative, student-centred evaluation, promoting holistic “growth profiles” as an alternative to traditional examinations.
