​Paper Proposals

Proposals are being sought for individual paper presentations. A paper proposal can be submitted by an individual or small group of authors. Accepted papers will involve a 20-minute presentation with an additional 10 minutes allotted for questions and discussion.

Proposals should be submitted in response to the theme of “The neuroscience of learning – Triggering the brain for holistic development”. This may include, but is not limited to, research on the cognitive processes involved in learning and how the knowledge of these cognitive processes can inform and transform educational practices.

Proposals will be received until Monday 13th December 2021. Authors of accepted proposals will be informed by Monday 20th December 2021. Please note that the submitted abstract will be made available on the Symposium website should the proposal be accepted.

Accepted proposals shall be published as peer reviewed articles in the Malta Journal of Education by the Institute for Education. Journal articles shall have a length of not more than 5,000 words excluding references.
